Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. It is produced by Columbia Pictures, Marvel Studios, and Pascal Pictures, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. This film marks the second reboot of the Spider-Man franchise and is the 16th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Directed by Jon Watts, the movie features Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr., Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, and Jon Favreau. Determined to prove himself as a true hero, Peter faces the challenge without leaning too heavily on his mentor, Tony Stark.
