Marvel fans got an exclusive first look as Spider-Man: Brand New Day began filming in Glasgow, Scotland, marking Tom Holland’s fourth time in the legendary red-and-blue suit. Unlike the secretive sets of No Way Home, this shoot welcomed fans right from day one — and Holland made sure to give them a memory to cherish.
In a behind-the-scenes video shared by Sony, Holland is seen interacting with young fans, lifting a child in his arms, and posing for pictures before heading into intense stunt work. “It feels funny putting the suit on. It feels different this time, somehow,” Holland says in the clip. “It’s also the first time we’ve had fans on set for day one, so it’s really exciting to share this with them.”

One standout sequence from the shoot shows Spider-Man standing on a moving tank, tearing open its hatch — a scene already creating a buzz across social media. The film also teases Holland alongside “familiar faces” from the MCU, with the actor admitting he feels the pressure to deliver another hit: “I’m just gonna do my best, hopefully get it right. No pressure.”
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and produced by Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige, Brand New Day will bring back Zendaya as MJ, alongside Sadie Sink and Liza Colon-Zayas in undisclosed roles. For more sneak peeks, check out the new Spider-Man suit revealed in the teaser.
The film swings into theaters in July 2026, and with the hype already building, it’s shaping up to be one of Marvel’s most anticipated releases.
