Backrooms is a 2026 American science fiction psychological horror film directed by Kane Parsons in his feature-length directorial debut. Based on the viral Backrooms internet creepypasta and Parsons’ acclaimed YouTube web series, the film stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, and Lukita Maxwell. The film follows Clark, a struggling furniture store owner battling alcoholism, personal failure, and a collapsing marriage, who accidentally discovers an entrance to the Backrooms beneath his store.
