Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is a 2023 American superhero film inspired by the DC Comics character Aquaman. Directed by James Wan and written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, this film is the sequel toAquaman (2018) and serves as the 15th and final installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Jason Momoa reprises his role as Arthur Curry, also known as Aquaman, who teams up with his half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) to stop Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) from destroying his family and using the cursed Black Trident to overheat the world.
