Simu Liu (born April 19, 1989) is a Canadian actor, writer, and stuntman. He gained recognition for his role as Jung Kim in the acclaimed CBC sitcom Kim’s Convenience. Liu earned nominations at the ACTRA Awards and Canadian Screen Awards for his work in the series Blood and Water. He rose to international fame portraying the titular hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021).
