Joker: Folie à Deux is an upcoming American musical psychological thriller directed by Todd Phillips, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver. As the sequel to Joker (2019), the film is loosely inspired by DC Comics characters. Joaquin Phoenix returns to his iconic role as the Joker, while Lady Gaga joins the cast as Harley Quinn, his love interest. Zazie Beetz reprises her role from the first film, with Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener also joining the ensemble. The film is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios, in collaboration with Joint Effort.
