“Gadar 2” is a sequel to the 2001 hit “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.” The movie stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma reprising their roles. It’s set against the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) and Sakeena (Ameesha Patel) are a Sikh couple in Amritsar with a son, Charan Jeet Singh (Utkarsh Sharma). When Charan Jeet is kidnapped by the Pakistani army, Tara Singh embarks on a mission to rescue him. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film is set to release on August 11, 2023.
