Poppy Gilbert (born 14 September 1998) is a Swedish-born British actress known for roles in Stay Close (Netflix, 2021), Chloe (BBC One, 2022), and The Catch (Channel 5, 2023). Born in Stockholm to British parents, she grew up between London, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and later trained at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, graduating in 2019. Gilbert made her TV debut in Call the Midwife and went on to appear in The Pale Horse, Leonardo, and Sherwood. Her breakout role came as the mysterious Barbie in Stay Close, followed by playing the title role in Chloe and starring as Abbie in The Catch.
