Michelle Yeoh (born August 6, 1962) is a Malaysian actress renowned for her dynamic performances in action, drama, and international cinema. Rising to fame in the 1980s and ’90s Hong Kong action scene—where she performed her own stunts—she later gained global recognition with roles in Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), and Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022), for which she became the first Asian to win the Academy Award for Best Actress.
