28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) is a post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Nia DaCosta and written by Alex Garland. Serving as the direct sequel to 28 Years Later (2025) and the fourth installment in the acclaimed 28 Days Later franchise, the film stars Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman, and Chi Lewis-Parry. Featuring a haunting score by Hildur Guðnadóttir, the movie expands the franchise with a darker, more psychological exploration of humanity, evil, and survival.
Set in a Britain still devastated by the Rage Virus, the story follows Spike, a young survivor who is captured by the violent cult known as the Fingers, led by the fanatical Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal.
